War On Terror

The 'war on terror' in Afghanistan is an unending war as its pinnacle where no one is able to surrender. Americans have brought so much carnage that they cannot leave the battlefield untill and unless stability starts to reside in Afghanistan again. Afghanis consists of Taleban supporters and Karzai supporters which includes the Northern Alliance, for them its has become a matter of pride to leave v. The Taleban wants to govern again and the Karzai clan wants to cling to power. Due to lack of education and some vested intrests, the ever-fighting parties of Afghanistan think that the only way to capture power is by the force of weapon, they dont know that there is a system of governance in the world which is widely known as democracy.
Moreover, If you shift to the situation in Pakistan, Afghanistan's neighbour and USA's main ally in the war on terror, your mind would get puzzled to guess what is the role of Pakistan in war on terror. After the September Attacks, the government was forced to ally with USA in order to save its skin and avoid going through thick and thin. Pakistan entered into the war field against the Taliban which they supported for two decades. As Pakistan is a muslim country, people are die hard supporters against the torture metted to muslims. It can be easily calculated that there is not a single soul in Pakistan which approves the war on terror. Due to this clash in government and the people, we see people daily dying on the roads and northern areas, either getting targeted by sucide bombers or dying due to military action.
The biggest challenge for the new governement is to take Pakistan out of this atate of confusion. Priority should be this rather than getting rid of controversial amendments and the only way to do it is to make the judiciary independant because war is too serious a thing to be left on generals.
